Senan has been a builder, carpenter, youth support worker, office manager and a secondary school teacher, amongst other things.

He has worked in a youth homeless day-centre in Central London, an environmental campaigning organisation, and designed rain-water recycling systems to save water.

He has been arrested for Climate Change activism and was acquitted for causing criminal damage to the Shell HQ in London in April 2019.  And he is now involved in setting up a radical housing coop in response to the climate and ecological emergency we are now experiencing.

His real passion has always been in supporting men and acting for change.  From the men's groups and the residential events he attended as a participant in the 1990's he realised there was a need for men's liberation. 

He trained as a telephone support worker at the Everyman Centre, a domestic violence support centre working to help men end their violence and become able to resolve their problems through emotional skills.

He has run men's groups and facilitated events for men around Healthy Masculinity, Patriarchal Wounding, Men and Grief, and Becoming a Joyful Man.

He now writes articles, a blog, and is writing a book about Men's Liberation.

He was born in Kenya where he lived until 10 years old, when his family moved to UK where he has lived since, and intends to remain.

He has 3 sons, a step-son and step-daughter and 2 grand-daughters
